Sensitivity to fruit?

Anybody else’s baby got a sensitivity to fruit and grown out of it? I’m talking fresh fruit not puree that you buy. She’s absolutely fine with fruit puree but if I give her fresh fruit she comes out in red blotches and starts hacking at her tongue as if it’s irritating her. I spoke to the health visitor who referred us to a dietitian due to her dad having the same problem however, the hospital came back to us and said there is nothing to be done at this stage. I mean fine but what do I do? At the moment I’m just giving her fruit puree to try and give her some form of fruit but surly she can’t just stay on those forever? 🤯

If the purée is ok could you cook fruit into things and it be fine like a purée? Like pancakes, muffins/baked oats that sort of thing? Not sure if your partner can eat cooked fruit?

no he can’t :( I gave her some pineapple today which is something she’s never tried. She ate it but within minutes she was rubbing at her mouth getting frustrated and then came out in blotches. All around her mouth goes red. I have tried her with almost every fruit baring grapes for obvious reasons and this her reaction every time :( If my partner eats fruit he said he feels like the inside of his mouth is swelling, almost throbbing. He also gets this strange rash. He just doesn’t eat it which is fine but It’s just not ideal her having no fruit in her diet. The only thing she has actually been ok with weirdly is oranges and banana. She isn’t fond of banana, I think it’s a texture thing. She will eat it cooked into pancakes but not as an actual piece of fruit. She isn’t just being awkward either because she eats anything put in front of her

When do things get easier?

As we entered the 9-12 month stage, my son started crawling and pulling himself up. He also became more clingy and does not play alone, still doesnt sleep through the night, and this week has been sick (so EVERYTHING amplified). I am tired and overwhelmed. Please lie and tell me things get better. 🥺

Colostrum storing?

Has anyone successfully extracted colostrum before the baby’s born? Apparently it gets produced from 16w pregnant and you can start storing it in the freezer but I’m 34w looking at my nipples and the syringes on amazon wondering how it works?? Like what did you use and did it hurt? 🥲

4 month bed time

What time do you put your babies to bed?
What time do you start your 'routine?'
My LO currently goes to bed around 10.30pm, and I know i need to start bringing it forward. Everytime ive tried, it takes longer for my LO to settle.
We are exclusively breastfeeding. Any advice Mamas?

Self settling

Any tips or advice of how to teach 6.5month old to self settle? I’m up multiple times in the night to cuddle her back to sleep and put the dummy in. I understand she will wake up and want a cuddle etc but any tips on self settling would be appreciated 🥰

Baby losing weight

Hi all, it's been a long time since I had a baby (my son is 15!). My daughter is 10 days old and was 9lb born, she has since lost weight at every appointment and is at a 12% loss. I am breast feeding every two hours for over an hour and topping her up every feed. I pump and can get 60ml in 10 minutes so I know my supply is okay. Anyone had this before? Can give me some tips? I currently feel like I'm letting my baby down.
