My LO is 14 weeks, box says 3 months, do you think he is OK to start? He sits in this walker a couple of minutes a day but wondering about something a bit more active (jumping).

I would wait until at least 12 months as the more active jumping puts pressure on their joints that aren’t ready for it yet. Developmentally jumping is a much later skill than standing and walking.

No judgement but just leaving this here incase you were not aware https://amp.abc.net.au/article/10403890

to be fair, the article is talking about unmonitored and "excessive time" and "spending too much time" in walkers or jumpers. There's just as many articles about the dangers of alternative they suggest such as strangulations and asphyxiation in swings and rockers. I feel like danger can be found in everything. I'd never pop him in the bouncer and leave him for long but I thought about it as some variety and movement as he gets bored/sick of tummy time quick these days and I thought this could be something to do after tummy time not instead of 🤔

Ok sure. Here are some other articles that talk about not using walkers and why https://cahs.health.wa.gov.au/~/media/HSPs/CAHS/Documents/Community-Health/ChildDevelopment/Baby-walkers.pdf

I think my little man went in around 7 months. Was over it by his 1st birthday because he could walk and felt trapped. I packed it away a few weeks ago. Will maybe try one more time because seems like a wasted gift as he hardly used it.
