Wet patch on baby's back

Hi all, Since this morning we've experienced 4 occasions where we've noticed a clear, odourless wet patch on my baby's lower/mid back, which has soaked through his vest and babygrow. Each time we've assumed it was a nappy leak but now we're not so sure as we've just changed him 15 minutes ago, the wet patch has appeared again when he's been lying down and the nappy is dry on the inside?!? Started to think it is sweat, his temperature is 36.5, chest doesn't feel too warm, no other sweaty areas so no obvious signs of a fever or a high temperature. The room temperature is around 19degrees and almost always remains at that constant temperature - has anyone experienced anything like this? Should we be concerned or is this just a case of his body not yet being able to regulate his sweat glands?

I experience this when using pampers changed to sainsburys and didn’t have another problem

I also experienced this with Aldi nappies. I use Tesco now and not been a problem since x

Are you making sure his penis is pointed down when you put a nappy on? Sometimes if it’s pointing up the urine comes up and out of the top and doesn’t go into the nappy, hence why it is dry xx

Thanks for your responses, will keep an eye on him and consider your responses!

Just to jump back on here- I realised that when my little boy goes in his jumperoo it’s pushing his Willy up where he is jumping and then the nappies were leaking! Not sure if your little one has a jumperoo so thought I’d let you know
