Outdoor sling wear

If it’s below 11 degrees I always do normal clothes he’d wear around the house, then a fleece sleepsuit (thin, nothing like a pramsuit) hat and then usually have a thin coat around us both as that’s what I’ve read is the best but you could maybe just try a blanket around the sling if you don’t have one that fits? X

could they wear a fluffy bear suit?

You want multiple thin layers rather than one big layer, so for this temperature I'd say vest trousers too cardigan, socks booties and a hat. The sling also counts as a layer, so a ring sling/carrier is one layer, a woven or stretchy is how ever many passes you have over baby, so a basic stretchy wrap would be 3 layers

I'll be taking my baby out in vest, babygro, pram suit, hat, extra socks and undercoat for our dog walk today. The extra socks is because I usually dress her this way and her feet are always cold when we get back

we went to the beach Xmas eve and it was windy and cold. I had my LO in a vest and baby grow in her bear suit with hood up and cotton wrap sling and she was toasty and warm and slept most of our walk all snuggled up

I always keep baby dressed normally and add a hat as the sling is classed as an extra layer and so if your body heat, I also half zip my coat around him and he's always toasty warm, if it's freezing I will add an extra layer like a cardigan. I have a cloth sling xx

Unless it’s icy cold I always dress my girl in her usual long sleeved vest and babygrow/whatever outfit she’s wearing, then I add a cosy jumper or thick cardigan, hat and gloves.

I have a blanket that I fold over double and wrap around the outside of the sling including over her legs for extra warmth and protection from the wind.

I prefer the blanket to her wearing extra layers as it means I can remove it if she feels too warm or if she’s fallen asleep and I want to go inside (leaving her in the sling)
