Hey! Lying in bed stressing. I am 22+5 and baby was kicking loads on Thursday/Friday but there’s been a decrease in movement since then. It’s now night - should I call the midwife in the morning?

Have you tried eating something sugary or fizzy drink? I personally felt like some days had more movements than others but it became more consistent after 29 weeks. If you are worried you should call triage and go into hospital to get some reassurance.

My midwife said that before 28 weeks I should be wanting movement every day and not to be too anxious about a pattern of movement before then. She said if I was worried to drink something freezing cold and lie on my left side for an hour and if I was still worried to phone triage and they could talk through whether a visit to the hospital was necessary for some checks.

I asked my midwife the other day coz I hardly feel twins move I’m 18 weeks she said it can be sometimes or hardly ever until 23/24 weeks then after 28 should feel it everyday regular

I would call and not wait the morning if you think something is wrong. Better be safe than sorry

would go out to hospital and get checked.
