Gender guessing poll
My husband and I have decided not to find out the gender of our baby (our first).
So now if there is a poll/guessing game kinda thing on one of our close family groups on “guess the baby’s gender”. Almost everyone makes an assumption and I on the other hand say idk, I m neutral, I can’t guess boy or girl I just want a healthy baby. (Mainly cuz I really no longer care what my baby’s gender will be, the idea of a living breathing human being is all I can think about)
Was I a party pooper and spoil the fun of the game?
I mean in the past when I had to make guesses for friends or family having babies I could but for my own self I can’t guess. The idea of either a girl or boy makes me happy. 🥹

Not at all! I’m the same way. I am 27 weeks on Sunday and we are also not finding out the gender until the baby is born. We just would rather focus on the baby being healthy then caring about the gender. We will be happy if the baby is a boy or girl! We have composed a list of names for each gender though so we are ready. I think it’s awesome to see someone else not finding out!
My boyfriends family did a poll with my first and now with my 2nd and they guessed gender, date and time of birth and weight and i didn’t partake in it the first time but i put my guess in this time and have already changed my mind but i guess it’s just a bit of fun so they feel involved 🤷🏻♀️x
