Hmm. I don't have this problem lying down, but sometimes I have it in the car because my diaphragm is pushing against my ribs. I have to lengthen my spine and sit up as straight as I possibly can to relieve the pressure.

I had this problem last night. It’s so horrible 😭

Omg!!! I have this problem!! Even getting an ultrasound I almost passed out

I have this through out the day, in the car as Tiffani said and just randomly. I’m assuming it’s something to do with positioning and where the baby is laying.

I am experiencing this currently and what’s even worse is between maybe 4pm in the evening and 10 am I have trouble breathing and cough a bunch which worsens when I lay down. :(

Avatar

Yes it’s normal! Baby is just up in your diaphragm. I sometimes have to sit up really quickly to catch h my breath even if I’m on my side and full supported!

i think my baby is still transverse in my belly tho so idk if he is or not

Avatar

i don’t have a cough but it’s almost impossible to breath sometimes

I have this going on. I can’t breathe and at first I thought it was like panic attacks but then it was happening every time I lay. It’s awful I’m not sleeping at all

Avatar

yees anytime laying down i gotta sit up to be able to breath in the slightest it’s so uncomfortable and almost feels like my blood isnt moving lol

Avatar

Yes same for me. I guess it’s normal then lol this is my third pregnancy and I have never experienced it before.

Avatar

it’s my first pregnancy but it’s tough lol

When I roll from one side to the other or first initially lay down, I have to catch my breath

Avatar

yes same here but even if i just lay down i automatically have to sit up to breath.

i have an appointment wednesday and i’ll talk to my doctor about it but it’s so rough lmao

Avatar

Yes. Me too. The side is better than straight away n my back even if I’m just lounging on the couch.

Period like cramps

Hi
I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant and I keep getting period like cramps I thought these were Brixton hicks but I’ve heard they only last 30 seconds ish as this can go on for a good time frame then go away and come back, they aren’t bad enough where I can’t do basic things they just feel like I’m about to get my period I’m jus wondering how normal this is? Baby is still very actively kicking xx

C section or natural?

I am a control freak and thinking c section is the least stressful route for me and baby… less complications during labour etc. whilst acknowledging recovering can be hard.
If it could be guaranteed no tearing or complications then I would opt for natural and kind of want to experience the feeling.
Then again could plan and go either way 😂 arghh!
Anyone else in this predicament?

Midwife check

Can someone remind me when the midwife visits you at home? Is it the day after you’re discharged? And is that the same on the weekend or do they not visit then? Thanks!
