Getting rid of the bottles at bedtime

Id go cold turkey but my lo had a stuffed animal that he sleeps with since birtg so he didnt even care

I don’t mind the milk just really want to change the bottles so they aren’t actual baby bottles anymore.

We went cold turkey with my little one when we were planning to potty train (about May last year) I told her she could have milk in a cup but not in a bottle, she had a meltdown the first night, but I held the boundary and she gave up and went to bed without, she then had a meltdown the following morning but again I offered her milk in a cup or not at all and held firm! I felt really mean but it was so quickly forgotten and the tantrums were short lived and so worth it. Also now she knows I mean what I say, I will hold the boundary if I set it

We just do warm milk in a mug… we only give it to him if he specifically asks for it otherwise we don’t x
