I have been told I have PCOS. I want to start trying for a baby. I’ve not had a period in over a year now since coming off the pill and I’m desperate for one now😢 doctors have told me to lose weight and that it will regulate but it’s still not. I feel at a loss, what do I do?

Hi I was in the same situation as you. I tried myo inisotol which I bought of amazon for £32 a month that soon regulate my cycle (many people get pregnant from this alone) for me it was found I didn't ovulate so the hospital prescribed me letrozole which worked really well for me and I'm due this month after years of trying and getting nowhere and I'm almost 40 x

hi sorry very random
But I’m also on letrozole and been put on provera to bleed but it’s not worked.
Do you have any tips on how to regulate cycle ? X

@Lucy for me a combination of weight loss and taking myo inisotol which you can buy online helped. Through exercise alone I got my cycles from 6 months plus down to 73 days.
Once I started taking myo inisotol it went to 40 straight away and then within say 3 months it went to a 28 day regular cycle.

my gynaecologist told me to have a 8 week break from provera as the last 3 months I haven’t had a bleed from it I’m starting to get worried x

If you can afford to pay £32 a month I would definitely recommend trying myo inisotol I bought my from amazon, you take 4 tablets a day no side effects. I found my body starting to function better within a few days it also made me less lethargic and lifted my brain fog.
Plenty of people take half dose and still feel the benefits x
hi, thanks so much for your reply. Was it the MyOva brand by any chance? I’ve bought this and started taking it properly from the third week of December, currently trying to lose weight too. Wondering how long it will take to see the benefits. But it’s hopeful hearing your story x

I came off the pill around 8 years ago and also didn’t have a period a year after too. The doctors weren’t hugely helpful, but after doing some research I learnt that people who have been on the pill can be deficient in vitamins which has an impact on your cycle. I THINK it was zinc and magnesium, but after taking them my period returned after a month. Could be purely a coincidence, but worth a try??

Yes it was the my Ova brand you should see a difference soon. My body never really worked as a woman all my life but that really kick started it working.
