Changing bottles?

My 16 month old is still on formula, in the morning, his nap time and bedtime. He has all of his meals but still cant seem to get off a bottle. We are using the MAM bottles as we always have with him but I am now beginning to worry about baby bottle teeth rot and wondering if I should get rid of the teet bottles and switch to a sippy cup? During the day he has his water in a bottle with a straw which he loves and has no problem with. We just haven't attempted milk in a beaker yet. I think the time has come. If anyone is in the same boat at all, I would really appreciate if anyone could let me know how they transitioned and which cups youd recommend? Thankyou!

No advice on swapping the bottles because we still use a Mam bottle for formula at bedtime however for his morning and afternoon milk I literally went cold turkey (one at a time) and offered a snack instead at the time I would have given the milk and he wasn’t bothered not having the milk at all! I then realised he didn’t need the snack either 😂 so you could just try removing the two day time ones if he doesn’t like the zippy cup x

I'd look to replace morning and nap time bottle with snack, then either replace 1oz formula with cows milk ( if that's what you'll move to) or do straight swap. We did straight swap.

NHS recommend 3 portion of diary a day so includes cheese and yogurt too. Our LB has milk in his porridge every morning.

My LB has between 4-7oz cows milk for bedtime, but he won't entertain in anything other than his bottle.
Loves his straw cup for water. Keep trying to offer milk in straw cup and open cup.

My little one will only nap/sleep on bottle so we are the same! As he is down to 1 daytime nap (mostly) he gets milk late morning for nap and then one before bed.
He won’t drink milk out of the straw cups, but I have been considering trying a sippy cup to see if that helps as it’s still a sucking motion…sort of!
So yeah, no advice… but similar boat 😂

When do things get easier?

As we entered the 9-12 month stage, my son started crawling and pulling himself up. He also became more clingy and does not play alone, still doesnt sleep through the night, and this week has been sick (so EVERYTHING amplified). I am tired and overwhelmed. Please lie and tell me things get better. 🥺

Colostrum storing?

Has anyone successfully extracted colostrum before the baby’s born? Apparently it gets produced from 16w pregnant and you can start storing it in the freezer but I’m 34w looking at my nipples and the syringes on amazon wondering how it works?? Like what did you use and did it hurt? 🥲

4 month bed time

What time do you put your babies to bed?
What time do you start your 'routine?'
My LO currently goes to bed around 10.30pm, and I know i need to start bringing it forward. Everytime ive tried, it takes longer for my LO to settle.
We are exclusively breastfeeding. Any advice Mamas?

Self settling

Any tips or advice of how to teach 6.5month old to self settle? I’m up multiple times in the night to cuddle her back to sleep and put the dummy in. I understand she will wake up and want a cuddle etc but any tips on self settling would be appreciated 🥰

Baby losing weight

Hi all, it's been a long time since I had a baby (my son is 15!). My daughter is 10 days old and was 9lb born, she has since lost weight at every appointment and is at a 12% loss. I am breast feeding every two hours for over an hour and topping her up every feed. I pump and can get 60ml in 10 minutes so I know my supply is okay. Anyone had this before? Can give me some tips? I currently feel like I'm letting my baby down.
