I might have to have a scheduled c section early at around 34-35 weeks due to some high risk issues with my placenta. Any other ladies want to share their experience to help ease my mind? How was your baby and did they require any special treatment in the nicu due to coming a bit early?
Thanks!!

my bubs came at 35+1 and he was a big boy! 6lb 12.3oz, 19in long. he was overall super healthy but had to stay in the nicu for a week because his glucose levels were really low, low bilirubin levels and was not wanting to eat or keep anything down that he did eat. Also learned he has a cows milk allergy at that time. I will say having your babes in the nicu can be hard and upsetting but those nurses are going to take really good care of your LO if they have to send them to nicu and if they do, you are more than welcome to message me. It can feel lonely but jus know there’s lots of us who experienced it too💛

Had my baby at 34 weeks, I had fetal surgery in my second trimester and ended up having membrane separation at 28 weeks so I was hospitalized until birth, but my water broke at 30 weeks
Little man ended up being super healthy despite everything
The feeding just took a while to get down because they need a bit to learn how to suck, swallow, and breathe at the same time but he’s doing amazing
He’s 3 months!

My daughter came at 35 weeks exactly. She was in the nicu for 18 days due to her just having a hard time staying awake to eat. That was literally it. She was perfectly healthy at birth and still is at 7 months. The only thing I’ve noticed is she’s quite a bit smaller than other babies her age but she is strong and my girl LOVES to try and talk😂

I had my baby at 34w 5d and I knew she was coming that morning and even told my doctor at my appointment 12 hours before she came. I did get one of the shots to help her lungs. She spent 11 sassy in the NICU even though we didn’t think she needed to they still kept her there. She didn’t have any special care besides the jaundice stuff but that was only for 3 days and that’s it.
She was on the smaller side of weight 4lb 8oz. But when I was born I was 4lb 7oz qnd the same length as her

I had my daughter at 35,4 because I had preeclampsia and they couldnt control my bp. Baby weighed 5lbs 7oz. She got perfect apgar score and no nicu stay. She had some jaundice but no treatment was necessary. She was a very chill baby - slept and ate well.
Im now pregnant with my second and only hope for the same outcome minus having to give birth early if I dont have to.
Good luck mama ✨️

My first born was 35 weeks nd came out 4lbs 14oz nd she was healthy as ever

Thank you everyone for sharing! I really appreciate it, it definitely brings me some relief to see that your babies are all healthy and doing well! ❤️
