And my wrists/fingers 😞

Yup I’m in the same situation. I hope someone can comment and give us the magic solution 😂

Same mines 10 months and I’m finish ☹️

Try investing in a rocking chair, as to getting her to nap on her own I’m no help my LO is still contact napping and will wake up within 15 mins if I put him down, at night he’ll sleep through the night if he feels me near him

I have a rocking chair and it still kills my back

My sister in law is giving me a rocking chair that I hope will help 🥹
My baby girl does not like her feet touching ANYTHING when I’m trying to get her sleep. That includes me tryna sit down to ease my back💀
Once she’s down for the night she Is down and stays asleep but sometimes that’s not until 2am and my hips r popping and licking everywhere 😂

Locking*

Have you tried popping her down, hand on chest and rocking gently, or gently roll into a side lie, one hand on chest, one doing bum pats...see if either of those soothe when she's put down. Try Warming the mattress too beforehand, so it's not a big temp change x

Invest into a rocking chair

For me no nap is ever the same but for the most part I do one of these two things. First method I use for my 3 month LO, is I put his down as soon as his eyes start to open and close and he looks really sleep. Usually he will fall asleep in the spot that I put him in. If that doesn’t work, I let him fall asleep in my arms for about 15 min. I don’t wait much longer than that and then I put him down. I find that if I wait longer, he will wake up and then the nap time is over. Another thing I do is warm his bassinet with a heating pad and remove it before I put him in. I think he really likes the warmth. I hope this helps a little bit.

3 months? Wow. I had to stop at 6 weeks. She learned very early on no amount of fussing would increase my ability to hold her longer. But I have chronic fatigue syndrome & fibromyalgia, when my body says put the baby down now I have to listen. She also learnt that daddy is much stronger & still makes him hold her loads & she's over 2 stone now!
What worked for me was one day she was fussing and refusing to go to sleep so I decided if you're going to cry anyway it may as well be in the moses basket. Much to my shock she soon fell asleep in there, and that was that.
