My 3 1/2 month old seems to be struggling with constipation. She is formula fed, and She usually goes everyday without fail, sometimes two. She hasn’t been for the past 4 days and I’m starting to worry. I know it can be normal to not go after a couple days but this isn’t her normal. She may be teething atm which I know can cause constipation also, but I feel like I’ve tried everything and nothings working.
Infacol is usually our go to, and she usually goes the bottle after she’s been given it, but I’ve tried and nothing has worked. I have tried cool boiled water, gripe water, nothing. She is constantly going red pushing and then crying so she is clearly in pain. I don’t know whether to call doctors or to wait..
Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

Have you changed her formula?
Try massaging her belly in circular motions after a nice warm bath, thats what got my little man to poo.

We just started giving our little one probiotic drops which have made her poos more regular

I had this with mine over Christmas and I put her in a warm bath with a flannel over her tummy which I kept putting in the water, I did this for about half and hour, took her out and she pooed in the towel after not going for 4 days 😂

We ended up in A&E before Xmas because of this and they had to pop a pessary in his bum and then poonami erupted.
They have since then told us to try a warm bath to help and massage around the bum hole with a cotton bud with Vaseline on to help him relax (we don't put it in as I think that's too invasive personally but the doctor did say it can be done like the Frida baby windi reliever).
