Not peeing

Almost one-year-old, not peeing overnight occasionally. is this normal or is it a sign of dehydration?

That sounds too long. How much fluid are they having throughout the day? You can pinch their tummy skin and pull it away from them and see how it comes back. If it goes back in place fast then that’s a fair sign. Are their eyes filled water? Are their lips wrinkled?

May mean ready to potty training. A year old is a loose term too. 12 months I'd be concerned. 18 months it's totally normal.

thanks for your reply. I’m still breastfeeding and offering water with meals… so I would say quite a bit but have nothing to compare too. Lips not wrinkled - will test tummy skin x

No need for a concern but the younger and smaller, the more cautious one has to be. So it's good to pay attention but a child that's getting more active may sweat or or if the air is dry, may lose water. If there are still 4-6 wet diapers, it's all good. 12 months is also old enough to notice temperament changed. If you are uneasy, it's perfectly reasonable to email the nurse. That said, there is a significant number of children that potty train before year old so it could be just a new milestone achieved.

thanks for this.. I will keep an eye on it and see how often it occurs. Usually nappy after breakfast is really full and will keep offering water throughout the day to make sure it doesn’t become serious. X

Induction?

Anyone been induced before? Was it more painful? Better than thought? Worse than thought? Worth it? Thoughts?

Worth the wait and pain. Baby girl arrived at 7:15 this am weighing 7lbs 6oz. She is so calm and chill.

Induction or c section?

As a last resort, would you rather be induced or have a planned c section?

Really not liking the thought of being induced from people’s experiences I’ve read!

Growth scan

So had my 28 week midwife appointment- all good but after measuring bump- I’m now waiting on a scan within a few days as bump is measuring small I’m not worried as I am guessing a tape measure is hardly accurate but
For anyone who has been in a similar position- what was the outcome after the scan? Was the baby on the smaller side ?
Was baby measuring normal?

Thanks
