Moving centiles

I was sent to have a growth scan today after my midwife measured my bump smaller than expected at my 28 week appointment yesterday. I had my growth scan this morning and the sonographer seemed happy with his size and measurements. However he’s moved from 82nd centile (20 weeks) to 42nd centile at (28+6). He’s predicted to be about 2lb14, and they don’t seem concerned as he’s still within the average ranges but it feels like quite a drop! Has anyone else experienced this?

Yup mine dropped from above 99th to 3rd she's started regaining weight now between 10 and 50th I was ill for a solid month and it was affecting her quite a bit but there's still time to turn it around so long as baby is moving and no obvious issues I wouldn't let it worry you at the moment

I had similar but the other way round, she was on the 10th centile then very quickly went up to the 51st but then my last scan she was 42nd but the midwife said she was growing beautifully so as long as they’re happy then I wouldn’t worry x

I think sometimes they do a really poor job of explaining the gap grow method to patients. I recently did my own research to understand it a bit more and have understood the following to be true generally: 1) everything is an estimate and also every measurement is subject to some margin for error. 2) the ranges represent what's normal but apparently it's a model which is really just meant to chart your baby's progress over time or between scans-- the main concern is if you see consistent measurements across all the points moving huge centiles in an interval between one scan and the next 3) apparently it's totally normal to have the head be 80th centile and the legs be 20th centile and the arms be 50th. I was worried that I was the only one looking likely to have a baby with a huge stomach and long arms and tiny legs. The midwife said a lot of people's numbers are all over the place across the different measurements and that is totally normal. Would be interested to hear if anyone has conflicting information!

Help

I was getting pretty painful period cramps and during those, I had painful lower back cramps. I had these on and off for like a few hours so from about 10:30pm to 1am?

I’ve had no show, or anything like that.

Is this braxton hicks or early labour pains?

Labour??

I’ve had on/off mild period cramps since 9 last night, very irregular and very mild, but I just had one that woke me up. My waters haven’t gone and nor has my mucous plug… but could this be a sign that it’s close?! I’m 40+3 and desperate to meet her!

Early waters/pre term labour?

I can’t get checked until later today unfortunately. I can’t tell if I’m leaking/starting early. I definitely think I’m having braxton hicks yesterday and today.. i have some pain in my back but she is quite low down so hoping it’s just pressure, baby was a little quieter yesterday but she’s back to more normal movements today, but my underwear just seems to get so wet, especially after going to the bathroom. And I honestly can’t work out the smell, I’m pretty sure it’s just discharge/urine leaking but there’s that worry in my mind a little. Are there any other ways to know/check if it could be the start of it all?

Groin pain?

So I’m 34 weeks with my second and for a couple days now I’ve had terrible groin pain so bad that sometimes I can’t even walk or shift a certain way or I feel like the baby is just gonna rip out of my groin… I definitely was uncomfortable towards the end with my last pregnancy but this is just absolutely awful. Is anyone else experiencing this? Or anything that helps?? It’s making it so hard to still care for a toddler when I can barely move without pain..
