I like fun names, a good menu, pastries, plenty of room between the tables so you have room and can have a conversation and can bring your baby. Maybe even different types of sitting areas, like tables and a more casual sitting area like a couch (like Central Perk in Friends).

Quick breakfast options too! One reason why I will grab Starbucks is because I can get a fancy latte and a breakfast sandwich at the same place.

Honestly the aesthetics of the place would bring me in. If the coffee is great it’ll keep me coming back. And if there’s some sort of rewards system that will definitely keep me loyal and not choosing any other coffee shop.

Definitely little snacks and what sold me on my favorite coffee shop is they have a raspberry truffle latte which around me is super hard to find around me and I’m obsessed with it 😂. Also I like good calming vibes/ quirky decor. Maybe do coffee flights bc those are super popular right now and I always want to try multiple flavors! Or even a small book shelf of popular books at the moment for people to read while they are there ! I just have too many ideas bc I love the idea of owning a coffee shop lol. Love the ideas of fun cool decor and the space between tables.
If you are somewhere cold you could have an outside fireplace for colder weather for early risers or during the day.
Love multiple things in one spot, make it easier for moms!

Ooh where do you live? That sounds absolutely lovely and I would definitely visit your shop. For me it's definitely being able to customize my coffee and when I am regular the barista knows my order

I love little hippy hole in the wall kinda cafes where they have spoken word nights, different kinds of seating for different occasions (ie some tables for working or studying and some couches or booths for lounging). Some books or board games are nice too for folks meeting up to just hang out

@Brently oh love the selling books and houseplants ideas! She could even have local authors do book signings there (I have a friend who is currently selling her first book and local coffee spots and bars letting her do book signings and readings helps her a lot!), and the plants she corks even have a propagation area, where people can bring in propagations they've started for a discount on coffee and others can buy those propagations. I have pothos and aloe, and they are so easy to propogate that I would love an option like this to share my plants and get new ones, bonus is I can get a coffee for like a 5-10% discount on it!
