Needed to share my experience. I started bleeding heavily on Friday morning, rang my GP as I haven't been assigned a midwife yet...spoke to my GP on the phone who then referred me to EPU and said I'd get a call from them. The whole day went past and nothing.
Woke up Saturday morning, still bleeding quite heavily. So, I decided to go A&E. Waited for nearly 5 hours to be scanned. They said they couldn't find anything and that I had a few small blood clots and a cyst on my right ovary.
Left A&E utterly heartbroken. Over the course of the last few days, the bleeding started to slow down, but I noticed I still had all my symptoms, so I decided to do a pregnancy test and got such a strong positive. I had a GP appointment still booked in for tuesday(yesterday) this was supposed to be my referral appointment but explained how I was feeling and doctor said I needed to go back to EPU for bloods and scan.
So this morning myself and my partner prepared ourselves for the worst news again. HCG levels were abnormally high for someone who has supposedly had a miscarriage so they asked if they could scan me. Not only did they find a bleed outside the pregnancy, a cyst on my right ovary but A HEARTBEAT! I honestly thought I was dreaming, but It was there on the screen flickering away.
Soo I have rejoined this group and hopefully will continue my pregnancy journey!
Had anyone else had a similar experience? I'm just in a state of shock. The past 2 weeks have been an emotional roller coaster, to say the least! X

So so pleased for you! As someone that's previously had a miscarriage, I know exactly the emotions you and your partner will have been feeling, it's horrific. To get the best possible news when you thought it was all over is amazing. Just keep on taking care of yourself, and fingers crossed the rest of your pregnancy is drama free! Xx
