Hi ladies. I am 24 years old and I am a mother to a 4 year old I am currently two months pregnant however due to on going issues with domestic abuse mentally physically and ect I had finally plucked up the courage to leave my ex when he had told me he wanted me to move with him it a different country with the kids. I knew that this would only isolate me even more and if I didn’t leave now I never would. So finally we are both on the same page which is separated. This is a rainbow baby and was planned on the basis of getting married and growing and elevating together but I realised that he was never serious about getting married and following Christ. I am feeling really anxious about being a single mum for the first time and I don’t have much family support around me. Which is why I will be moving back to london closer to my support of friends and family. Until the move is finalised I’ve been bed bound upset and emotional. I know that the break up is important and needed. I am really struggling to get out of my head and enjoy getting ready ect any advice pleaseeee and thanks x

My best friend is single and raising 2 children. An 8 year old and an almost 4 year old, she does fantastic with them she's a great mum. She also works to provide for her children.

Congrats on leaving. You are doing the right thing. You deserve a healthy relationship and so do your children. Maybe you can get therapy to help heal. Since you are spiritual, lean on God and the Bible during this time.

Im a single mom with a 2 year old , there are ups and downs as with anything but you can do this. Lean on your family for support and keep working on yourself and your own health, mental and emotional, and happiness. You need to build up resilience and strength but you will. Build a community of support for yourself, find other mom friends other single moms , other people who will love and care about you and your children . You got thisss!
thank you 💞I have been praying and reading abit of bible. I’ve had therapy before but ur right maybe therapy would be good for me during this time.
I’m trying my sister has said she’ll help when I’m in labour ect and my dad said he’ll help with the baby

I was a single mum to two and honestly found it 100 times easier than raising them with my ex who was emotionally abusive. I was happier and my eldest started to comment on how much she loves it just us and how I’m not sad all the time. Kids need a perfect mum they need a happy mum. May not seem like it now but your life is going to be everything you deserve you just have to start making the changes. Really hope you leave and find your happiness. I live in Kent and my partner is from London feel free too message me x
