Wtf happened?!
A switch was flipped last week and my sweet, happy, playful baby has turned into a tantrum throwing, refusing to eat, no no noing toddler..?
Is that what this is?! Because I'm not okay.

Yup. Mine still does morning cuddles and begs me to hold and sing to him right before bed. But he's also begun screaming "Mine!" and "No!" and throwing tantrums on a frequent basis. I was prepared because my 3 year old started those things around this age, too.
But remember, you are their safe space so they're going to be extra everything with you. That means you're doing a good job. This is normal and developmentally appropriate even if it is hard to deal with. Take deep breaths, try to find a moment to center yourself whenever you can and love those moments when they still show their sweet side

Same. I tried to take baby girl to gymnastics today and she threw a fit about getting in the car. Then threw one when we got home. It'll pass. At least that's what I tell myself.

Right 😠like why aren’t you eating??? You might not be so crabby if you would just eat. I can’t keep feeding you nutrigrain bars.

It's so hard. Some things they have helped for me are looking into "the power bucket" and "the attention bucket", trying to get out of the house on the bad days when it feels like you can't do anything right (even if it's just sitting on the door step or taking a drive), or turning off most of the lights and getting rid of as much stimuli as possible. Toddlers get over stimulated really easily, and a change of scenery or helping them regulate can help a lot.
If all else fails, I swear by popsicle baths. Throw them in the bath and give them a popsicle and you usually get a good 20 minutes of joy when you feel like you're going to tear your hair out.
