Big baby

Just had my 33 week growth scan! Baby is measuring 6lbs and 4 weeks ahead 97th percentile! At my last appointment on the 2nd we scheduled my induction for February 23rd I’m due the 29th. Do y’all think my ob will take little miss sooner due to her being bigger? She’s gained 3lbs in 4 weeks

I just had my growth scan at 35wk 4days and baby girl is measuring at 6lb 2oz! She is on par with her siblings weight between 6.5lb and my son the biggest at 7.6lbs. I usually deliver at 37 weeks naturally so almost there! I’m unsure if they would deliver earlier due to size but I’m certain I read some moms delivering early due to large size on here.

this is my second, my first weighed 8lbs 3oz when he was born at 38w4d and I went in the night before my induction because I was already in labor just my water hadn’t broke yet! I’m hoping they take her and don’t make me wait till 39w3d if I don’t go naturally!

Induction?

Anyone been induced before? Was it more painful? Better than thought? Worse than thought? Worth it? Thoughts?

C section or natural?

I am a control freak and thinking c section is the least stressful route for me and baby… less complications during labour etc. whilst acknowledging recovering can be hard.
If it could be guaranteed no tearing or complications then I would opt for natural and kind of want to experience the feeling.
Then again could plan and go either way 😂 arghh!
Anyone else in this predicament?

Period like cramps

Hi
I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant and I keep getting period like cramps I thought these were Brixton hicks but I’ve heard they only last 30 seconds ish as this can go on for a good time frame then go away and come back, they aren’t bad enough where I can’t do basic things they just feel like I’m about to get my period I’m jus wondering how normal this is? Baby is still very actively kicking xx

Homebirth?

I am thinking I want a homebirth (second baby) for a few different reasons but my husband is very against it, he is worried about things going wrong and we are a 30 minute drive from the hospital. Has anyone been in a similar position and what did you end up doing? Any advice? 🙏
