Shaving after section

So maybe a bit gross but I had my c section mid September and I still haven’t shaved. I’m too scared too🤣 I’m still numb on the area above my scar. Any advice on making it easier?🤣🫣🫠

I just went for it 🤣 no advice I just went in blind, can’t see what I’m doing any more because of the little c section overhang I have but he’s seen me in labour and sliced open he can handle a few stragglers 🤣 good luck god speed x

I’ve done it but I don’t go over my scar, I pull my overhang up as much as I can and shave as close as I can go to it… I probably leave about a 3mm gap to scar as I’m worried I might nick it🤣x

I know this sounds silly but do you touch your scar much? You could try desensitising yourself but making a big effort by running your fingers over your scar. Maybe if you could brake a razor (so it had no blades) and run that along it as if you was shaving. Might help visioning doing it to help when you do.
Mine is also numb still too. I shave over mine, carefully and had no issues. Xx

So I ended up just going for it and it was a breeze, absolutely nothing to have been worried about🤣🤣xx

Day out after c section

Hey,
I had an emergency c section 1 week ago I obviously don't want a day out right now but I have things booked for the Easter holidays so in 2 weeks. I was just wondering if I will be overdoing it if I have a day out then or will I be ok? I would still take it as easy as I could. When did everyone feel good enough to go out?

Period like cramps

Hi
I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant and I keep getting period like cramps I thought these were Brixton hicks but I’ve heard they only last 30 seconds ish as this can go on for a good time frame then go away and come back, they aren’t bad enough where I can’t do basic things they just feel like I’m about to get my period I’m jus wondering how normal this is? Baby is still very actively kicking xx

C section or natural?

I am a control freak and thinking c section is the least stressful route for me and baby… less complications during labour etc. whilst acknowledging recovering can be hard.
If it could be guaranteed no tearing or complications then I would opt for natural and kind of want to experience the feeling.
Then again could plan and go either way 😂 arghh!
Anyone else in this predicament?

Midwife check

Can someone remind me when the midwife visits you at home? Is it the day after you’re discharged? And is that the same on the weekend or do they not visit then? Thanks!

20week scan!!

i had my 20week scan yesterday, everything looked okay on baby and we found out the gender!! it’s a girl 🩷🩷. but they said that my placenta is too close to my pelvis and they need to do extra scans to check on it? has anyone else been told this?

Owlet

Anyone else’s owlet pi##ing them off ?!?! It goes off 5/6 a night saying it can’t get a reading and needs a snug fit. My baby is 8 months old so moves a lot. It is driving me insane and I keep end up taking it off!!
