Pain 9 month PP

Just a quick question did you do c section scar massages at all ? I've heard this can help x

I had that untill I was 4 months post partum. You should be feeling almost back to normal by now hun x definitely speak to your GP

I’m 9 month pp from a C-section too and I’ve got significant nerve damage. I often feel dull and sharp pains. It take a full year to recover from a C-section

A scar is actively healing for 2 years and then continues to heal for a longtime after that just at a slower speed.

You can also get different things happening during the process of it trying to heal. Layers of tissue can become fused together that should be etc. it may be worth discussing with you gp if you are really uncomfortable.

After my first session it took about 3/4 year for my scar to feel comfortable it felt very tight. My second section healed in a much more comfortable way. But it was in my notes from my second section that they removed old damaged scar tissue. Know a few mums that had a better scar after a second section xx

no I didn’t x

it wasn’t planned but also not technically an emergency. My waters broke at 34 weeks but I had no other signs of labour so was induced. After 2 days it was clear my body just wasn’t going to labour naturally so they advised a c section was the best option due to a number of complications and the safety of baby xx

if you were rushed down to theatres and done by the emergency crew as it is it can be the case that the surgery is a bit more rushed then a planned section. You have who ever is on call unfortunately due to the rush sometimes not as gentle. Sometimes they are just a little on the rough and rushed side, due to the emergency. As a result a little more damage can be done. Is the way I had it explained to me.
