Dilated left lateral ventricle

Hey, my twin was diagnosed with a heart defect but a different one. He had TGA (transposition of the great arteries). He had open heart surgery at 3 weeks old. I totally understand your position and worry. It is impossible not to. What have they said for you? From what I know this is fixable.

There are so many Facebook groups for parents of children with Herat defects, I suggest you look there because otherwise you can get a lot of misinformation from the internet. My advice is try not to worry to much, your baby is in the best place while inside you so make sure to look after yourself, and trust the doctors. They know what they are doing. what they told me it’s something in the brain and it could mean spinal fluid isn’t flowing from it properly? It’s so hard to understand medical talk 😭 I’m waiting for the high risk dr to call me & schedule a more thorough ultrasound 🥹
