Life hacks

Anyone got any life hacks when it comes to organising ?

In the 2 under 2 club and have SOOO much things especially clothes. 🙄🙄

I need hacks and inspiration on how to maximise their cupboard space. We have a double cupboard in their room that’s split so can have a side each that’s decent size so wanted to try find a set of drawers to go in there and then take it from there. I don’t want drawers on the floor space as don’t want my little one climbing.

Also good storage ideas for toys as need to replace one of the units as he’s climbing 🙄🙄

Please drop your pics of your little ones room if you’re comfortable and any life hacks for storage and organising, thanks x

The majority of these clothes are for my little girl. The 2 set of drawers are full of clothes for her. The bags are full of clothes we’ve been gifted.

The clothes range from 0-3 up to 9-12 pretty much 🙄

Have you got any space around the top of the room to put some shelving? You could put some little wicker baskets up there with clothes that are too big/nick nacks/special bits.
Ikea kallax units are great, if you have the floor space you can get a 4x unit and lie it down, lots of storage and then you can use the top as a bench, i’ll send a pic of mine, it’s not tall and can’t fall over and makes a nice reading nook.
The wardrobe space I probably would recommend some drawers in the bottom and the top some large clear boxes that can be stacked on top of each other for clothes that are too big etc.

thanks for your reply 😋 I’m going to look online to get drawers that will hopefully fit in the space at either side and if I’m able to rearrange space around the other storage cupboard I’ll more the stuff from the top here.

I have the kallax unit but x8 cubed I want to get rid off as he climbs it so would like something smaller. I like the idea of the smaller ones like yours.

Where do you keep her toys ? I wonder if I have a pic of his room on my phone

We’ve got a 4x cube kallax unit in the lounge, the bottom 2 drawers have some toys in, then we have an 8x boxed kallax unit in her room too with some toys in

Leaky nappy help

What nappies are you using to stop leaks?? We use pampers ultra dry size 5, and for the past few nights he has lashed through and we’ve had to completely change him during the night. Last night he leashed through twice!! He sleeps on his front and stays leaks through at the top of his leg where the tabs connect. Didn’t know whether to size up, he has a bit of a belly on him but he’s smack in middle of weight guidance so shouldn’t need too

New born

Finally had my baby girl via C-section on the 18th, everything has been so far. But I’ve noticed she’s very fussy and cries a lot. I’ve been trying to exclusively breastfeed. The lactation consultant at the hospital said I did look like I’m making enough milk for her. She was latching on good at the hospital and now here at home, she doesn’t seem to want to latch at all. She’s been crying a lot and very fussy. I’m just wondering is she’s colic or like maybe she just doesn’t want the breast anymore?

5.30am wakeups 😫😴

My 15 week old has started waking up about 5.30am and is really hard to settle back down - it’s like he thinks it’s time to wake up for the day. He used to go to bed at 9pm and was up at 8am but now he goes to bed between 7.30-8pm as he’s knackered by then but waking up at 5.30am😴. Any advice to get him to sleep a little longer in the morning?! Even an extra hour would be lovely 🤣
