What is your hesitancy towards it?

No concerns at all. I plan to get it and covid in about a month. TDaP has been extensively studied and is proven safe. You're recommended to get it because of pertussis, which doesn't come as its own vaccine, so that baby is protected until they can get their first dose at 2 months old.

I dunno nervous being pregnant and side effects.. my niece dint have good experience post birth and assumptions were it could be vaccine related

Do you mind sharing her experiences just out of curiosity? I’m pregnant with my first baby and have recently received the tdap vaccine. I’ve had no side effects my midwife and family doc both recommended it. I’m nervous for when the baby is born and protecting her health. 27 weeks 💘

Yes its only because of that- she started having fits unfortunately as a 6 month old- they were gone , but caution lasted 4 yrs.

I just got it on Monday and besides a sore arm the last two days, which has now gone away, I have had zero other side effects! I would recommend getting it ☺️

I wouldn’t get any vaccines while pregnant! Not worth the risks

I’m pregnant with my third child and just got the tdap vaccine. I had it done during every pregnancy.

breastmilk provides all the protection they’ll need! Babies have no immune system function till closer to age 2 so vaccines to “help their immune system “ are
Literally pointless before then

I got it 👌
