Size 1 teets

Is anyone still on side 1 teets?
I tried a 2 but I just felt she wasn’t resdy (my LO is not a good feeder) so I quickly went back to the 1’s.

We are. We pace feed and it’s recommended to use a slow flowing teat when pace feeding! My baby is 4 months and on size 1 xx

my little one is almost 4 months and still on size 1s, my first born is 2 and i didn’t switch his teats to 2s until way after hist first birthday and he still has 2s now - you know your baby so trust your own judgement xx

My daughter was the same I switched to 2 and seen she wasn’t doing to good so I switched back to 1’s then like I wanna say 2 weeks later she was eating less, she was going from 30oz to 23 and it was the nipple so she’s back on size 2 and has more control with it 🙌🏼

My baby is 4 and a half months old born end August and we're still using size 1 mam teats. We did switch up but swapped straight back as she kept choking and seems totally fine on size 1 still. She can still guzzle a whole bottle.of milk very quickly so don't see the need to change ☺️ x

My daughter 4 months she in size 2 teats as she was getting tired mid way through bottle when on one but now 2 she is good , xx

Yep, 16 weeks here and still on side one

So my next question is.. has any one noticed that just before they switched to 2’ (knowing they was ready), there baby become very gassy (burpy) again.
Before my LO would have 60-110ml without needed to burp. Last few days the volume has drop to 30ml feeds and she needs full on burping ? Think this may be a sign she is ready for 2’? X

We’re on the size 3 Mam teats. Our lg is 17weeks. We only moved here when she started to struggle finishing her bottles and taking ages and then giving up. When we moved her up the change did shock her, it was like she was drowning in milk haha but after a few bottles she figured it out and we seen the difference straight away finishing her feeds. Then again we moved to size 3 when she started struggling again, she has 7oz bottles and they’re drained in about 10mins

We moved to size 2 but then baby started developing reflux symptoms and was screaming on each bottle so went back to size 1 and it’s all good again!!

4 months and still size 1. 2s be too fast for him he gets terrible issues after with wind

Just out of curiosity, why do parents love zipper onesies?

Don’t get me wrong, I tried zipper ones it’s easy to zip in and out when putting it on the first time and taking it out, but I find it difficult when changing diapers especially when baby is asleep.

I prefer those kimono style buttons where it’s easy to button or too down button with crotch snaps.

Is everyone thinking the same or different? Lol

At this point I’m not enjoying motherhood

My 22 month old is horrendous at the moment🫣 biting, hitting, pushing, pulling and shoving not only adults but children he also wants what other children have and will just snatch it away from them.

We repeat ‘nice hands’ ‘be gentle’ ‘let’s share’ etc

But how do I make him understand what he’s doing isn’t very nice? At the end of the day I feel like I’ve just been saying his name all day and nothing else.

What can I do?

My LO every feed. Drs don’t seem to think it’s a problem the whole Muslim cloth gets soaked so much I’m using towels now. I’ve tried size O teats he gets really frustrated and still spills it out :(

Dummy

My baby has had a dummy since about 2 weeks old (now 5 months) and over the course of the last month we weaned her off it during the day only for naps and night (which was fine) and then 5 days took it completely away during the day.

The first day no dummy was fine, the second bit rougher. But now it feels impossible she just moans and cries all the time it takes ages for her to go down to sleep (she’s always been an amazing sleeper)

I thought it was meant to get better as time went on not worse. I’m at my wits end I dunno what to do.

Currently typing this as she screams uncontrollably in the car and I cry with her cos I can’t do anything.

Is this normal?

My 12m old is really funny with kids going near him, he’s always been this way, but anytime family’s kids sit next to him or head his way he moans or cries and moves away. He also really observes them and is never really relaxed, always looking over his shoulder. Has anyone experienced this? (He’s starting nursery properly tomorrow so hoping this helps) but is this normal?

Of these two, which seems more overall “demanding” to you, overall? Lighthearted poll, not putting anyone down 🫶🏼

As a mum who breastfed for 3 years, I think formula feeding seems 100x harder and more demanding. I give those mamas all the credit because I could not keep up with that faff haha. I truly don’t understand why people say breastfeeding is more effort, other than the fact that no one else can do it. But personally I’d take that over endless bottle prep & cleaning.
