So my LO goes to bed at 6pm he drinks between 6oz-8oz before he goes to bed and he sleeps till 6.30am/7am
We change him and give him a bottle at 10pm which he normally drinks around 7oz/8oz but he doesn’t wake for it he only wakes as we change him.
When he wakes up on the morning he’s just not interested in his bottle straight away and when we feed him after a hour he’s been awake he only drinks 4oz but he’s not overly fussed about it. Should we stop feeding him at 10pm??
We only really feed him as it’s a long time 6pm/7am
Thanks

Honestly my boy is the same in the morning. He’s not really hungry until a couple hours after he wakes. And I just think some adults are the same. I don’t eat breakfast until a couple hours after I wake up.
I used to dream feed him around 10/10.30, I have dropped this recently to see if he would sleep through still, which he did, but it hasn’t made a difference in his hunger in the morning. He’s still not massively fussed about his bottle.
I’ve started giving some porridge in the morning so I at least know he’s had something, around half an hour after he wakes. he absolutely loves that. And then about 1.5 hours after he’s woke up and he’s ready for a nap then, I give him his bottle x

Firstly can I say how jealous I am of how much sleep you are getting! Secondly does he take many naps during the day for him to sleep so well at night? And lastly my boy is exactly the same and not interested in his morning feed till at least an hour after waking up and it is still a complete struggle! Maybe Amelia is right and we should start some porridge/baby rice too

Hi my little girl also has no interest in the first feed for at least an hour and will barely have half. I try and get up at 7 and I’d love for her to take it at 7. As she eats every 3 hours. The later she has it the later her bedtime is. She wakes about 10pm/11 for a feed which she usually drifts back off to sleep for. Not sure if I could stop that feed yet as she does grizzle for it. I’ve tried upping her day bottles by an ounce but she’s not interested. Its reassuring to know I’m not the only one whose baby isn’t really interested in the first feed. Xx
