I’ve been asking and asking - all replies are so different I’m clueless 🤷🏼‍♀️

i did use a medela one which was really good but not wearable which made it difficult to do anything, i’ve heard momcosy are good though?they also have a hospital grade one which might be a shout?

Avatar

yeah i’ve checked with the feeding specialists and i’m using the correct size, im just pumping at the moment, don’t have the confidence to breast feed anymore🫠

my cousin is a midwife and said about the haakaa🤱🏼

Avatar

I have the momcozy m5 and it works and good for me. I also find the haakaa is great and painless. Put it on whilst feeding

Avatar

Momcozy s12 pro. It’s on sale on Amazon right now too

Avatar

yeah i have a haakaa but i don’t really breast feed to be able to use it, i did in the early days and found i got a lot of letdown so defo useful for someone that breast feeds regularly!i haven’t looked at non wearable ones, i didn’t know what was an option but defo worth a look if i can just pop it in my bra and go about my day without having to hold them on like the medela

Also you can use a nipple butter to put on the flange so your nipple glides better and it should help with pain

Avatar

It really shouldn’t hurt to pump at all, even with sensitive nipples. If you’re positive your flange size is correct, then either reduce the suction level or try putting a thin layer of coconut oil or nipple cream on before you pump.

I never got on with wearable pumps but I have friends who use and love momcosy!

i have nipple vasospasm so i’m not sure if this is also part of it?just having a rough time with feeding in general so i think i’m going to have to spend the money and get a decent pump to see if this helps!

Avatar

I use the momcozy s12 pro, I exclusively pump and it’s so so comfortable to wear in my maternity bra, I forget I’m pumping most of the time xx

Avatar

this is the one I may go for and my aim is to pump feed. I take it you’re getting enough to feed ?? I’m clueless 😵‍💫

I bought the momcozy ones. Much cheaper than elvie and when I was looking at elvie I saw lots of bad reviews. I figure for the price it needs to have great reviews. This time I bought a second hand willow (haven't used it yet since I'm 27 weeks pregnant) momcozy was a good wearable pump though.

I got the momcozy v2 and I love it. I’ve tried multiple wearable pumps and this one is my favorite

I have the momcozy s12 pro they are great 😊

When do things get easier?

As we entered the 9-12 month stage, my son started crawling and pulling himself up. He also became more clingy and does not play alone, still doesnt sleep through the night, and this week has been sick (so EVERYTHING amplified). I am tired and overwhelmed. Please lie and tell me things get better. 🥺

Colostrum storing?

Has anyone successfully extracted colostrum before the baby’s born? Apparently it gets produced from 16w pregnant and you can start storing it in the freezer but I’m 34w looking at my nipples and the syringes on amazon wondering how it works?? Like what did you use and did it hurt? 🥲

4 month bed time

What time do you put your babies to bed?
What time do you start your 'routine?'
My LO currently goes to bed around 10.30pm, and I know i need to start bringing it forward. Everytime ive tried, it takes longer for my LO to settle.
We are exclusively breastfeeding. Any advice Mamas?

Self settling

Any tips or advice of how to teach 6.5month old to self settle? I’m up multiple times in the night to cuddle her back to sleep and put the dummy in. I understand she will wake up and want a cuddle etc but any tips on self settling would be appreciated 🥰

Baby losing weight

Hi all, it's been a long time since I had a baby (my son is 15!). My daughter is 10 days old and was 9lb born, she has since lost weight at every appointment and is at a 12% loss. I am breast feeding every two hours for over an hour and topping her up every feed. I pump and can get 60ml in 10 minutes so I know my supply is okay. Anyone had this before? Can give me some tips? I currently feel like I'm letting my baby down.
