Pain

I’m nearly 27 weeks pregnant and have a pain on the left hand side of my stomach - I’m unsure if it’s because I need toilet or what but just checking if anyone else has had this :/

I have that on and off. Depends on the babies position. It can be caused by baby pressing on the organs that are there, there is less and less space in the belly. Can be gas as well. Ligament pain...of you are concerned or have any other symptoms like fever then I would speak to your midwife first and if necessary your GP. I was first worried about the spleen or pancreas but that would come with additional symptoms. They can get affected though because of the pressure from the growing bump.

My little boy born 5th April at 18:15 weighing 6lbs 11oz. He kept it interesting by turning from breech on the day of my csection on April 1st. Started induction on his due date the 4th and he he was here within 24 hours. So happy and hope everyone else has an amazing birth experience <3

BABY MOVEMENTS

I’m 20 weeks and I’m not sure if what I’m feeling is baby movements, this is my first baby. In my lower abdomen predominantly in the left side I feel like mild thudding and swishing. I feel it could be gas or other tummy issues. What did your first movement feel like? I must add what a beautiful feeling X

More info for cesarean

Hi everyone, 26 weeks, just had my follow up scan after finding out at 20week (done at 22w due to scheduling) that I have complete placenta Privia. My dr said it was still early and can move as baby grows however today at our second scan, he said as it hasn’t moved in 4 weeks, and he is concerned that it may not move. He started taking about c sections and the high risks associated with it, and my head just wants to explode. I have had two medically perfect unmedicated births, and now I have to have my worst fear of being cut open come to life. I am absolutely terrified of having a c section. The whole reason I’ve done unmedicated both times is because I hate hospitals, I hate hate hate needles and how not only do I have to give birth in a hospital but also have to have a cesarean, and my entire medical team is going to be changed. I’m just so heartbroken and terrified. Im not sure exactly what I’m looking for, I guess just reassuring words or advice. Thanks
