How long is your 4-5 week old sleeping at night?

LO is sleeping for just 1 to 2 hours at a time at night. I know every baby is different but I was hoping she would get longer stretches in at this point!
My husband takes her for a few hours at the beginning of every night which helps me get a few hours of guaranteed sleep.
How much sleep does your LO get in at night?

Mine sleeps 4 hrs wakes up, eat and then back to sleep for 3 hrs but she’s also eating 4 oz like a boss 💀 are you breast feeding or formula because I know breast milk has less calories so they’re hungrier more often

I had a similar problem. My girl kept falling asleep while breastfeeding so she wasn't eating until she was full and waking up a lot. We started using bottles at night and that helped a lot! She gets 3.5 oz per feeding now and sleeps a good 3-4 hours at night being more full.

3-4ish hours, but my first baby was up nearly every hour or 2, so I understand that exhaustion

I say give it some time, my LO is 7w almost 8w, and we’re now getting 3-4 hours

mine also falls asleep while breastfeeding, sometimes it’s a struggle to wake her up. Trying a bottle is a good idea!

she did one 3 hour stretch the other night and it was amazing lol. I’m hoping she starts doing that more often

Mine sleeps anywhere from 30 mins to maybe 2 hours once in awhile when we are lucky. We’ve tried everything. He’s 5 weeks old. We are on different sleeping schedules but we won’t be able to do that much longer so I don’t know how we are going to survive.

@Hope he always has been a good sleeper but lately we've been doing more of a routine. We feed him when he Wakes up from his last nap. We then change him and chill for as Long as he's awake. When he starts showing signs of being tired, we change again, put the sleep sack on (we use halo in the crib at night only), then turn the lights off. I sing to him for about 20 min while my husband taps his belly. I then rock him for about 10 more minutes (he's already asleep) and relocate him to his crib. Sometimes he shows signs of being hungry again so I dream feed him. Sometimes he doesn't, he went 6 hours between night feeds before.

My little guy is 5weeks. We do our bedtime feed around 7:30/8 then lights out for him to sleep. We do a dream feeding around 11:30/12 and then right back to sleep. Then wake up around 5/5:30 to start our day.
We have a reflux problem so he only eats 2oz at a time, we feed every 3 hours during the day and try to keep him awake for about an hour to hour and a half after feedings during the day so that he is sleepier at night.

3-4 hours and sleeps from 8:15pm to about 7:30 am

I just upped my girls food, she’s weeks and eats between 4-5 oz now so I wake up once in the middle of the night usually 1 or 2am depending on if I feed her at 8 or 9 pm. (She was combo fed, now I just feed formula)

When do things get easier?

As we entered the 9-12 month stage, my son started crawling and pulling himself up. He also became more clingy and does not play alone, still doesnt sleep through the night, and this week has been sick (so EVERYTHING amplified). I am tired and overwhelmed. Please lie and tell me things get better. 🥺

Colostrum storing?

Has anyone successfully extracted colostrum before the baby’s born? Apparently it gets produced from 16w pregnant and you can start storing it in the freezer but I’m 34w looking at my nipples and the syringes on amazon wondering how it works?? Like what did you use and did it hurt? 🥲

4 month bed time

What time do you put your babies to bed?
What time do you start your 'routine?'
My LO currently goes to bed around 10.30pm, and I know i need to start bringing it forward. Everytime ive tried, it takes longer for my LO to settle.
We are exclusively breastfeeding. Any advice Mamas?

Self settling

Any tips or advice of how to teach 6.5month old to self settle? I’m up multiple times in the night to cuddle her back to sleep and put the dummy in. I understand she will wake up and want a cuddle etc but any tips on self settling would be appreciated 🥰

Baby losing weight

Hi all, it's been a long time since I had a baby (my son is 15!). My daughter is 10 days old and was 9lb born, she has since lost weight at every appointment and is at a 12% loss. I am breast feeding every two hours for over an hour and topping her up every feed. I pump and can get 60ml in 10 minutes so I know my supply is okay. Anyone had this before? Can give me some tips? I currently feel like I'm letting my baby down.
