When washing their hair do you just throw water over them to rinse etc or protect their face?

I tilt there head back to rinse shampoo etc off but I do drizzle a bit of water on their head to let it run over their face 🤗

I say 1,2,3 go and pour water over her hair which goes on her face. We’ve done it since she was tiny and she’s so good with it. She doesn’t cry (apart from occasionally if she’s very tired) and then I always clap/ celebrate afterwards. We do the same when we go swimming and she goes underwater x

I just protect eyes and say head back when I rinse the shampoo off other than that neither of mine care about water over their faces lol x

I try to protect his face but he doesn’t tilt his head back😂😂 but he doesn’t cry he laughs🤦🏽‍♀️😂

My girl loves splashing so we have been splashing her with water and she just laughs every time. So when it comes to washing shampoo out her hair she isn’t too phased if water goes down her face

We just go for it and luckily he isn’t bothered x

My boy doesn’t bad an eyelid if it goes over his face. We were doing it since day one putting water on his face. We used to use the yokidoo baby shower head

I hate water on my face, so i was careful to avoid it on my kids.... now they both hate water on their face like me 🤦‍♀️ their dad swims, so he hates that they are like me in that regard. The 7yo is worse about it. Our kids are more in swimming class, so we're hoping to get them past it while they're still kids! Our 2yo will barely get his face wet just a little bit sometimes!

this is me and the same situation 1000000%! Put my light girl in swimming classes so she’s not like me! 🤣🤣 I’ve tried not to be too precious because my parents were the same and covered my face etc and I’m like them 🤣 but it’s clearly in her genes anyway as she isn’t a massive fan when I’m lobbing water at her 🤣
