Hello, so my 4 month old hardly cries, when I say hardly I mean sometime I truly forget he is 4 months which he just turned yesterday.
It’s like the only time he is fussy is when he is hungry which I already know when he would be hungry like on que. when he needs a change and sleepy. The crazy thing is he doesn’t even cry or fussy when he sleepy I just can tell in his face he sleepy. He don’t cry when I change him does not even give me a hard time when I bath him like he truly just lets me do it.
He do not allow me to hold him like a baby unless he is going to be rocked to sleep but for the most part again he does not cry like that. I hate to say it but my sister tried to spook him just to see if he cried and that was the only thing that did it but soon as she passed him back to me he went back to being his self. Is this normal at all? He has an appointment coming. This week but just want some thoughts to look at and discuss with his dr.

My understanding is that crying is usually a late stage sign of hunger/tiredness etc. so if you are always catching their cues they don’t have a need to cry. Our baby doesn’t cry much either - only if we are distracted and miss her hungry/tired signs and she loves getting a happy change and a bath/shower!

It sounds like you’re super attentive to your baby’s needs! That’s awesome. :) and it’s okay if baby doesn’t cry. He feels safe with you!

that’s what I am thinking like I must just know when because I’ve had time missing his hungry cues and time and boy that’s when he does cry like I committed a crime. But over all it don’t even happen.

This sounds like how my daughter , she does not cry at all unless she’s hungry , wants me or tired she does great with diaper changes too. My man’s mom says that she forgets there’s a baby in the house because she never hears her crying ! I’m very on top of her when I know she’s about too eat I make the bottle a few minutes before to have it on hand unless I get caught up with time, even with her vaccines she cried for only just one shot for like 2 seconds

Totally normal ❤️ my baby girl is fussy not
at 6 months for the first time because she’s teething. But if I keep her occupied or pass her teethers etc we’re fine.

Well, that's nice 🙂
