Anyone have recommendations for a menstrual cup? I've never used one, and I usually use pads, so I'm not very familiar with tampons (I know that's kind of wierd) I have an iud now after having 2 kids, and my period is kind of irregular. I'm looking for a more sustainable way than disposable pads.

EcoBlossom from Amazon. I tried it, and it really stays put!

I’ve always used Diva cup and I love it! Truly life changing. They have two sizes, size 2 for those who have had kids. I just had a child 2 months ago so I’ll probably be buying a size 2 when my period comes back.

I use the Flex cup because the pull tab is a lot easier the handle, especially for those that haven't used a cup before. They also have 2 sizes, a small one for those who haven't had kids and a bigger one for those that have kids. I would also suggest wearing a light pad or period underwear while you are learning to use it in case of leaks.

or mentrual panties 😊

I was told by my obygn not to use a menstrual cup as it can possibly suction the iud out. I went to using the kotex brand of thin menstrual pads.

I had the Flex cup but the “string” thing somehow popped up into the cup and I couldn’t get it out. I had to have my husband reach up and get it because my fingers couldn’t get to the cup lip. I’ll never use that one again because I’m too scared. It was pretty new too so it wasn’t like the bottom hole should have been worn out and loose.
I tried the Peachlife cup off Amazon and it worked well before having kids. I can’t seem to wear anything after, probably need to work on my pelvic floor. I want to try a disc because maybe it’ll sit better, I always feel like the cup out tampons are coming out.

I would try the quiz to see where to start. Everyone’s body is different, and different cups are made to fit different bodies. If you want to be more sustainable but don't want a cup you can always try cloth pads.
