Y'all, my butthole is SO itchy, I feel like I've got hemorrhoids even before I've birthed my baby 😭 am currently sitting with a pad of witch hazel on my bum but wtffff do I dooooo??
I'm convinced I got hemorrhoids after my first child because I was in active labor with her for 42 hours, and with her presenting posterior, pushing was quite the challenge. I never prioritized healing my body after her either, I went back to work 4 days pp and then took a 10hr roadtrip just two weeks pp to visit my husband's passing grandfather. Simply, it took me weeks to get my bowels in order.. luckily, my body eventually healed itself, and I never needed additional medical attention.
I prioritized the SHIT (no pun intended) after my second baby and didn't deal with hemorrhoids, itchy bum, constipation, or anything after him..
Now, I'm 39 weeks pregnant.. haven't even had my baby, and my rectum is already causing me so much grief. Idk what to do. 😭 I've had loose bowels for well over a week, and finally, today, I had a mostly firm bowel movement and within 30 minutes.. my bum is just SO itchy omfg. It's not necessarily sore.. but why is it itching so damn bad. 😵💫😵💫😵💫
Sorry, I KNOW no one wants to hear or talk about the rectum of all things, but Lord have mercy. Save my hole. Pls n thx. 🙏

My butt is so itchy…I have one hemorrhoid and I haven’t even given birth yet 😖 also doing it up with the witch hazel pads

Thank you for saying this btw. It needs to be talked about 😆

Have you tried witch hazel pads ?

Try a warm bath , preparation h cream and Vaseline . You can feel down there to see if one is present unless it’s internal or take a pic to see under for yourself

frrrr it is NOT talked about enough lolol

@Aadaysha yes I have! I've got two packs and I've been so tempted to open one but I really wanted to wait for babe to be born before opening them so they're at optimal freshness when I'm healing 😩 for now I have a witch hazel blend that my midwife made me with lavender, tea tree, etc which helps but I'm already down a quarter bottle lolol ♡

@Mirra Baths definitely help, but I just want it to be GONE .. it's like I'm constantly finding temporary relief 😮💨

@Mirra oh girl, I totally like.. V stand and bend over to check my booty hole out to see what the fffff is going on bcuz 🫣😱😫😭 so miserable having a butthole that feels like it's on fire, lol

I seriously had this happen to me today. I just put a lot of baby butt rash cream on the area. It helped a lot

oh girl
I know it
That pain is noooo joke!! I ended up having the surgery to have them removed after I had my daughter almost 5 years ago .. I mean the worseeeeee pain
Definitely was praying hard they didn’t come back with this pregnancy

@Mirra I honestly think I might need the surgery at some point after this child! I hate to think about it and don't want to pity myself, but I really think I might 😩😭 it is.. what it is ❤️🩹

@Dymond you're right 😭😭 I need to order that probably like.. tonight

Preparation H, sitz bath? If you don't have Preparation H you can try hydrocortisone cream as well to help with itching

I have a permanent hemorrhoid that bleeds and then goes down and then gets big again. It's horrible!

it works in MINS! I’m 39 weeks today and last week I had to whip it out! It was needed

omg that was the worse when that used to happen to me omg
It hurt so bad .. the surgery was honestly the best thing that I ever got .. they called it a fistula and removed the hemorrhoids on outside too

you should really look into it .. it’s been almost 5 years for me and I pray they never come back

@Mirra did they say if you had any inflammatory bowel disorder? I should get mine removed...it would be really nice. Mine is on the outside. I think they do like banding or something?

no they never said that.. I think it came from my first 3 pregnancies .. you should
I promise it’s such a relief . I got put to sleep but they have something else called the rubber band method to remove them but I believe they can come back with that method.. look into a anal and rectal doc/ practice

@Sheala that sounds so painful 😭😭😭 that's literally what I'm afraid of happening.. I also had one that bled after my first baby, and I don't know how, but it resolved itself and didn't come back. I'm just a bit worried to go through the same experience after this baby ughhhh like maybe I'll get a new one or the same one will come back? But yeah, I remember being done bleeding vaginally but not anally lmao it sounds awful, I know.. but it's just the truth of what I went through. I think I might look into doctors now just to prepare.. cuz sometimes these doctors take weeks and weeks to even get seen!

Also, I'm like 99% sure this is something insurance would cover.. so like, why not get it addressed and live more comfortably!
