Infection

I had this. It sucks- I feel for you. How long have you been on the antibiotics? They usually work quite quickly (48hrs) to make you feel lot better. Maybe call the Doc and tell them you still have pain.

If it’s going to keep you up at night, go in and have someone look at it. Sometimes it’s good to have a different doctor look at it, the ER for example. Just to get a fresh unbiased opinion. Don’t feel silly for going in. There’s no harm in it. And if there’s nothing wrong, be grateful and if you’re not sure again in a few days, do it again. As many times as you need to ease your mind. Because you just never know. Are you a trained medical professional? I’m not, how could I know what is normal in an abnormal circumstance, I always go in just in case. I’ve never regretted going in. Aside from having to sit in the waiting room at the ER. That’s not fun so I bring a buddy and some snacks. Lol. Go in and know for sure.

I took my first tablet Friday night, so it’ll be 48 hours almost.
I don’t feel poorly , I’m just uncomfortable with the incision area xx

@Jade I had tenderness and soreness (bruised feeling) for quite a while after my c-section and had the infection around the same time as you. I think if it's not severe pain and doesn't get worse, you shouldn't worry, but if it doesn't ease with paracetamol, rest and/or after a couple more days, you should definitely go back to the doctor. I don't think you should go to A&E, though, from what you've described. Things are a bit different in America!
If it makes you feel better, apart from my gross overhang tummy, I feel completely back to normal now at 12 weeks. Hope you feel better soon xx
