I have a 3 week old and her trapped wind is something else and I think it’s to do with the bottle we are using. We got told from lots of different people to use MAM bottles but there suppose to be anti colic and help with wind and gas but am thinking it’s making her worse. What are your thoughts ? X

I'm using Tommee Tippee advanced anti colic ones alongside infacol and optibac and have seen a difference. My LG was suffering at 2 weeks now almost 6 weeks and seen a difference xx

Nanobebe bottles

I don’t formula feed but I seen something where you shouldn’t shake the bottles after adding formula and instead do a swirling motion. Just encase you’re doing that.
Making sure your baby is in an upright position when feeding as well is another if not done correctly can cause trapped wind.
Are you pace feeding or letting your LO take loads of the bottle at one time? If not pacing and winding them in between it can cause a lot of trapped wind.
Infacol is what most people give their LOs with trapped wind.
I wouldn’t buy more bottles if you’re doing any of the above.

doing all of this but we still seem to have bubbles in bottle ? 🤷🏻♀️x

I’d buy more bottles! I’ve heard lots of ppl say mam bottles are actually awful lol

I am beginning to see this unfortunately I have spent a fortune on them as well 😢

I had mam bottle but I bin then after seen that plastic in side peel of and mix in milk cost baby be ill 😦 now I use only NUK and my lady love them .

I use the MAM bottles and using infacol directing in each feed helped my boys wind massively!
I find adding it to the bottle removed nearly all the bubbles/froth too! X

I saw someone on here post about Dr Brown anti colic bottles so off I went to Amazon lol. Day 1 of using and it seemed to go well. I’m hoping it continues 🤞 xx

They’re expensive but I use BIBS and they have been amazing.

Gosh I'm at my wits end re bottles didn't have the excessive wind and colic issue with my first. Should we need to also add infacol to feeds if we are specifically using anti colic bottles? It's a minefield

I’m using anti colic bottles and also infacol colic drops before each feed on top as a like added measure to try and cut the colic out
