Thought it might be teething, but this is worse than normal. Thinking it’s another sleep regression or leap?

8-12 months is almost a non stop whirlwind of fussiness for me even with my good babies. There’s so much work to be done in their little bodies and brains those last 4 months of true “babyhood”! It’s possible it’s teething, a leap or milestone, if he’s been pulling up more or trying to stand or walk that will keep him from wanting to sleep too. Could be almost anything but whatever it is usually will resolve in a couple of days 😭🤣

Yess!! She just started getting better now though. I think it was a sleep regression, she would NOT nap.. never had an issue with naps before

Yes! My son has been so fussy and needy recently. Plus he’s constantly skipping his second nap. But on the plus sides he’s also been more affectionate
Thanks ladies! It’s nice to know my baby isn’t the only one! He is definitely very close to walking and is taking 5+ steps at a time so I think it is partially that, teething and a sleep regression 😅

@Alyssa my little girl, is going on a week like this, ladies LO. All she wants is me, too. If I'm in the room with others and people she knows very well, she looks at me and yells and cries. She yells at me when she's hungry but already in the chair and sees it being fed to her. But she still yelled and cried. I had to leave the room till she calmed down so I could come back and feed her. Idk. It really stressed me out. I ended up yelling, and I feel awful about that. 😮💨

I’m lucky because my third and second babies have had older siblings to help entertain them so I haven’t dealt with this part as much. Sounds like a little bit of separation anxiety potentially? I know those phases of separation anxiety usually take a bit more time to get over. I know it’s tough. Definitely take those breaks, she will be okay. I remember for my first child I had one of those large playpens for him to be in safely while I cooked or took a short breather. Putting some wireless earbuds in to drown out some of the crying helped me. (There really is nothing you can do but let them fuss sometimes unfortunately!) Some kiddos do just go through grumpy phases and there’s nothing wrong with what you’re doing or anything. Their temperaments and personalities are not in our control 🤣
