Hospital bag for baby

I’m 31+2 and just about finished packing mine and lil mans hospital stuff. (wanna get everything out the way) I just had a thought, what sizing is everyone taking for baby clothes? Not had any growth scans so I’m going in blind here. I’ve got a few newborn, some up to 1 month and some 0-3 stuff. I only wanna pack like 3 bodysuits and 3 sleepsuits but don’t know what size to take😫

I’d probably say newborn to be fair as they can still come up quite big! X

I’ve got a couple of new born & a couple of up to 1 month, I’m not bothering with 0-3.

You should be fine with newborn or up to 1 month, if your baby had more than 4 kg your midwife would get a hit by your belly measure I think...

I’m personally only going to pack 0-3 months. We’ve been told since early on that baby has long legs and measuring big x

I’m not sure yet. My daughter was 7lb 2oz and we ended up having to get some tiny baby stuff as the newborn stuff was just too big. So will see how my extra growth scans go! But generally just newborn unless you’re told you’re having a bigger baby! Xx

Agree with the above but keep in mind that some newborn sizes are huge while others come up small so it depends on what brand you're buying. My son was long, 3.8kg and fit most newborn for first 2 weeks and was then in up to 1 month or 0-3, however,he wore newborn JoJoMaman sleepsuits for over a month🤷‍♀️ Can't go wrong with a selection as they're all so small to pack anyway!

Wouldn’t even bother with 0-3, newborn and first size will be good 👍🏽

Newborn and first size will be fine as between different shops these will go up to 9/10lb.

I’d just take newborn & up to 1 month I wouldn’t personally bother with 0-3☺️

Scan needed at 33 weeks

Hi ladies! I just had a midwife appointment (I am 33+5)..the midwife was different to my usual midwife. She's requested I have a scan within 72 hours as she said baby is measuring a little small, however, she did say that it's likely nothing to worry about and it's probably just her measuring me a bit different to my usual midwife. Has anyone else had this? Am a bit worried although babys heartbeat and movements are completely fine.

Finding out gender

Has anyone found out the gender at a private scan at 14 weeks? And has this been accurate?

I found out at 17 with my first but I know a scan place that offers from 14/15 weeks and I’m impatient 😂🥲

Rolling milestone at 5 months - What’s typical ?

Good morning ladies,

My daughter will be 5 months old tomorrow, but there’s still no sign of her rolling. She does tummy time and loves lying on her mat, playing with hanging toys above her and to the sides, but she only lifts her legs and doesn’t seem interested in rolling or moving sideways yet.

Anyone else the same or have your babies already learnt how to roll yet ?

Thank you
