Anyone here experienced brown discharge during 12 weeks pregnancy?

It could be old blood and dont worry it normal

I still get it now and then, but it’s old blood. I had a scan Friday and everything was fine with baby. Try not to worry to much xx

I went to A&E as soon as I saw it and doctors said blood tests all came normal and good. They didn’t see a scan necessary at this time and said that sometimes old blood can come out… I still booked a private scan for this week Thursday to make sure my baby is ok… BUT can they tell from blood test baby is good?

I’m sure the blood test was to measure your hcg levels. If they double/ go up then it can indicate pregnancy is progressing as normal. Hope that helps :)

I had exactly the same. The blood tests are to measure your infection rate in your body. I asked if they could confirm if baby was ok and the gyne who examined me said there was no way to know for sure unless a scan was done and they could confirm heartbeat. I have been referred to early pregnancy unit where I am planning to give birth and they will book me in for a scan this week to double check. So nerve wrecking. I’m 12 +3.
