Can they say that my bf can’t come into anatomy ultrasound scan with me?

I’m doing a second try for anatomy scan because they said the baby was moving too much last time. We got there like 10 min late because we had gone to wrong spot that security sent us to. Once we checked in they still had us wait a bit. So by the time I was going in the lady already seemed angry and irritated with me. She said my bf had to wait outside, I thought it was just while the prepping then they’d let him in. Once we were in there and getting ready to start I asked if he could come in and she said he couldn’t come in only after just to see the baby at the end. I thought that was weird because he’s always been there for all other appointments and ultrasounds. I have the make up today and he really wants to go in there with me and see our baby girl. He even went into work early so he could make it. I really want him there and he wants to be there, it’s always a little scary going in there mostly just because of those times when baby girl is hiding in there and it takes a while for them to find the heartbeat and we’re just there looking at eachother waiting to hear that heartbeat. Online it does say only patient goes in other adults and children wait outside. Is there really no exceptions for the father? Can they legally deny him to come in or not be in there? I have Kaiser if that helps.

Where are you going everywhere I’ve gone he’s allowed in every appointment

I’m going to Kaiser all other appointments were at Obgyn department but the one that they said no was the that ultrasound that was in radiology department.

My partner has been allowed to come into every appointment with me,Even when I had my glucose test,Every single appointment at midwife,Reassurance scans he’s never been refused

That’s weird. Could you possibly change like centers? I go to st Joseph and never had a problem I know Kaiser is known for problems. If they say no I would just demand that he’s able to go in. If you stick to it enough they usually give in.

My mom came with me yesterday to do my anatomy scan and was with me the whole time.

I have Kaiser also, and this is my second pregnancy. For the anatomy scan, they let the dad come in at the end after they take all the pictures and show you the baby together.

They usually let dad come in at the end which is so weird .

My bf has come to every single appointment and he wasn’t allowed in until the end for our dating ultrasound and anatomy scan. They told me it was for my privacy in case I needed a transvaginal scan which I thought was so dumb since they were complete strangers but oh well.. he came in at the end both times though and we had a private 3d ultrasound that he was there for the entire time!

I'm in the UK, my husband has been allowed in all scans ..🤔 seems odd to allow the father in.
