What is an ideal/typical size baby shoe for when baby starts walking (12+ months I guess). I am looking to purchase some for my son since they are on sale for a great price! Lol I’m just not sure how to determine sizes

You are better off going to get his feed measured in a shoe shop as they need to be fitted properly.
My daughter is 4 years old and is a size 7.. she started walking at 11 months and her feet were a tiny size 3.5

Every child foot is different, best to get them measured. My boy is 13 months and his feet are 2-2 and a half

It’s better to measure the foot with a ruler or measuring tape. The specs are usually in the description. My son didn’t wear shoes when he first started walking because it’s actually better to not wear shoes while they are learning (at least indoors) but he was about a 4.5 and he was around 10 months. At a year he was a 5, now he’s a 6 burgeoning a 7. But my nephew had very long toes and he was a 6 at 12 months.

Thank you everyone!
