Try a child seat that fastens to a normal chair? Have him sit at the table bit feeling like a grown up. Otherwise try get a second hand or new kids table & chairs see if he prefers that

I was thinking about his own table but not sure if he’ll get up and run round with the plate 🤣. He might learn to sit down eventually

My eldest daughter refused to sit in her high chair like that, so got her a booster seat so she could sit at the table 'like a big girl' & she sat lovely after that.

Haven't bothered with a high chair for my second, just got a booster seat that's from 3months+ from Mamma's&Pappa's. So she's at the table with us during mealtimes & just plays on the activity part.

Get an easytots suction mat plate omg he won’t get that off the table! It will be another leaning curve teaching him to sit at his table but then again he might love it from the start!

I actually have one of the mamas and papa chairs but it goes on the floor and can’t attach to the seat. They’re quite expensive so I wouldn’t want to buy another one I think it’s £70 but does sound good

we have a plate that has about 5 suction things underneath and he still gets it off🤣 can only try! I think he would probably get up and run round to start with but maybe (hopefully) learn to sit until he feels full

I have a seat the straps to a normal dining chair and she sits in the more than a highchair.

I also do sometimes put her at her own table but she won’t sit and stay there unless I sit with her cxx

Incognito it does attach to the chair underneath & to the back. The straps are hidden, you need to pull them out.

my one has no straps, I got the cheaper one which is only a floor seat so unfortunately can’t go on a chair
