Out of curiosity is there a reason you’re filling it out now? I’m planning on doing this in the 3-4 months leading up to my return to work. I’ve also heard that if you put in the request as late as you can to start on the day you’re due back then you don’t miss out on holidays accrued during your maternity leave

That’s a good point r.e annual leave. I was told to request it now if I wanted to have part time hours when I returned

I’ve been told by my employer not to do it now but to do it as part of my return to work plan towards the end of my maternity leave to ensure I get my full holiday allowance as Kirsty said x

I also assume if I do it now I will have the part time pay as my maternity pay! I will definitely not be doing it now!
