Does anyone else with an anterior placenta feel discomfort / tenderness? I almost felt a little bruised after I have scans & just generally a little tender. My midwife said this can be quite normal?

I had one and I was really sore after the 20 week scan, felt bruised for about 36 hours then eased off. Hopefully you’re better by now!

It corms & goes, wouldn’t say I’m in pain but just so tender! How did it affect your movements? Im 17+2 and haven’t event felt a flutter yet! X

I didn’t feel much until around 23 weeks and then you do feel them but apparently not as intense as if it was posterior, but I had nothing to compare to. My baby was breech in the end so my movements were different again, can’t say I’d want to feel them any more intensely than I did!
