My baby has just turned 1 so I guess a toddler not a baby!! He has always been a huge wriggler in bed and usually this leads to him waking up several times when he wedges himself into corners and bangs his head on the cot š« . Iāve been looking into it and apparently introducing a 12+ month pillow can really help them sleep better at this age. Iāve seen the sleep tight ones in Tesco, theyāre super thin and appear very breathable; Iāve also done a lot of reading on it and all the reviews seem very encouraging⦠but Iām terrified to try it!! And if I do, would it go under the fitted sheet in his cot?! Anyone with advice, Iād massively appreciate itš„¹

My 4 year old still has this pillow & she has the matching duvet. Had it from 12 months. Itās super light and flat. Just put it in her cot (when she was in one) like normal! Not under the fitted sheet ect. She never moved it and she was a real wriggler until she had a pillow & duvet. Started sleeping super still and either on her back or side.

I've seen people put the pillow under the bedsheet so prevent suffocation. There's a woman on tiktok who does it and she's never had an issue. I believe her @ is Katie first time mum

Theyāre so so lightweight that your child will be fine, Iām sure. I went into my sonās room the other day and his head was fully under the pillow š¤¦š¼āāļø but itās so small and lightweight that there was loads of air around him. (Heās over 2 now.) We didnāt change to a pillow and duvet until he was 2.

Iāve put one in my 13 month olds cot, under his fitted sheet so he canāt move it. I canāt say itās really made much difference though to be honest, he still wiggles around as much and most of the time ends up the wrong way around in his cot, not even using the pillow š x

Iāve just introduced this pillow this week as my boy sometimes gets snotty and musus build up when heās flat in his bed. My boy is 14 months and I put it under his fitted sheet and over the next couple of months will introduce it on top of the sheet. He still sleeps in his sleeping bag fine which is good as I would worry more with blankets etc xx

My LG is still in sleepsacks as shes also an either end wriggler and she likes the security of them. But we have just put this pillow in the cotbed to get her used to one. Sometimes she uses it and sometimes she doesnt š¤·š¼āāļø. Its very small and flat so i wouldnt worry about safety.

I give my daughter a pillow recently and I put it under the fitted sheet so she couldnāt move it around. She sleeps much better with it. She used to be a wriggler like your son but when I gave her the pillow she was much more settled

Ah i might try this thank you.
