Today my baby is 2 months old and we had her 2 month pediatrician appointment. She measures about 9.1 lbs (birth weight 6lbs 13oz). The doctor said she is in the 6th percentile BUT we don't need to be too concerned. She's just small. It's basically my job to worry about my child and now I'm like AM I NOT FEEDING HER?! She's growing and she is a happy little girl but what the heck! I can't force her to eat more. I'm pretty much exclusively pumping and giving her bottles but she is kinda snackish. She'll eat 1-2oz and then stop for a break and then 1-2oz again. 🥺 Just disappointed. I love my small baby and I feel like I'm not doing it right. 😥

They say as long as they're gaining weight, then that's great! Trust the Dr. You're doing great mama!

You must be doing it right!!! The doctor said so, and your baby is happy and healthy. Be happy and proud of yourself!! 🙂

My first was 6.1lbs when born, and NEVER got over 15th percentile for ANYTHING. She’s a happy nearly 8yr old now who is averaging at about the same size as the other kids in her class. There is NOTHING WRONG WITH YOUR BABY. My second born in January is following her big sister. Born 6.1lbs. The chart is an older model and is the AVERAGE of LOTS of children.
Yours, like both of mine, is just on the smaller end of the chart and is totally okay and you’re doing great!

Ok thanks for the encouragement, mamas! 💖 It will all be ok. I was a small baby too.

My baby does the same thing
He was 5lbs when born he has gained 5lbs he’s now 10lbs and he’s 7 weeks he eats every 2 hours about 2 ish ounces 🩵 I feel ya!

is that an app that you have for charting her growth?

it’s part of the Glow Baby app.
