Small babies
Anyone else was told they have a smaller baby at their anatomy appointment? My first daughter was also on the smaller side but doctor is concerned baby may not be getting everything through the placenta, my previous OBGYN clinic that I had with my first pregnancy was never concerned,but I did go into preterm labor which they don’t know why ( I was 4.5, 5 cm but because I was 36 weeks they didn’t question it since I was a week from being term ) I’m currently 19w1d and baby is 8oz and in the 7th percentile, I will be getting referred to a specialist.

My first son was 5lb 3oz he was in premature clothes for 3 months, my midwife has said if this baby(my second) is on the smaller side they will induce me /c section earlier
They said alllll the things to us about my daughter around 28 weeks, made us go to MFM and told us the scary stuff, placenta failing, stillbirth, etc girl my kid was the smallest baby in the nursery and the loudest. Passed her car seat test, was 5lbs 7 oz was in premie clothes and grew slow now a healthy right on track 2 year old. Not a dang thing wrong with her just little! They scare you for liability but you could just make little babies! She also came on her own at 37 weeks, they wanted to induce at 38 and I delivered naturally. I tried to just be grateful I got more scans than other women and saw her all the time before she was born! The hospital had better equipment too so we found the positives but totally hear you if you’re anxious. I bet baby is just little 💜
Yes I was told this too! My doctor said I may have marginal cord insertion and referred me to a specialist as well
My baby was in the 18th percentile. My dr wasn’t worried. My other small too so I’m not worried either. Just have small kids 🤷🏻♀️
