Hi all
Little ones sleep has improved recently and now all of a sudden he’s waking up multiple times in the night again but as if he wants to be up for the day? The only way to get him back off is feeding him. He has had a cold recently but tbh when he’s waking up he doesn’t seem in pain or discomfort. He’s sitting up in his cot and behaving like he wants to play 😣🤦♀️ could this be the 8 month sleep regression?

Yup this is a thing! Had to Google why he sleep has gotten so bad and it's a regression apparently 😅 so sleep deprived because my LO acts like the day is starting at 3 am 🥲

how do you get him back to sleep? Do you get up with him?

I'm in the same situation haven't felt this sleep deprived since she was born also have other half snoring in between her waking up 😭 following incase anyone has some tips 😂 I have no advice to give other than laugh or you'll cry 😂😭

Pretty sure it's a thing! I felt like we were on tract and this week we are back to waking in the night & waking up super early 😭🤪

Yep we're in it a week before he turned 8 months. My first never has it it at 8 months so I was confused. X

Also experiencing this! My girl is ready to start the day anywhere from 2-4am! I also can only get her back off by feeding to sleep or continuously rocking her up and down (which is destroying my back🥴)

5 am is a good morning hahhaa. We went on a holiday and he adapted to different routine in 2 weeks and now he goes to sleep later (8-8.30pm) but then sleeps until 7. Otherwise if put to bed at 7, he used to wake up between 4-5am….

get up with him..change diaper, try to feed him, read him a bed time story and do the patting singing routine! If it's really bad unfortunately I walk around with him. He loves opening and closing doors atm so I let him do that until boredom hits and then put him back down 😂
It's one thing to get up to make a feed, feed and put him back to sleep..but it's another thing to entertain at night. So difficult :(
