Hey! My little guy is 9 months old. He doesn't seem to be too picky on his purees he will eat all different types of fruits and veggies. But when I give him food from our plates, all he does is squishy it to death, lol
I'm not sure if I should continue the puree or keep going. I'd like him to eat more but I really have a hard time with it. I don't know if im scared of him choking or what
Or even having a reaction to a new food. I just feel like a complete mess when it comes to foods. Help!!

I suggest following solid starts, or downloading their app. It helps tell you how to prepare the food for each age.
It is normal for babies to explore their food by touching and squishing it. Let them do this. They will eventually get more curious and will try some, just be patient

My husband has a pretty strong fear of our son choking as well so I started on purees then have been gradually increasing the chunkiness of the food. Our son will now eat bites of our food when we give it to him but mostly eats a very chunky style of food. I roughly chop everything and add something that can be mashed as he isn't a fan of dry foods (I am the same way so I understand) so typically some avocado, pumpkin or squash usually.
