What's everyone's plan for transitioning to a toddler cup from bottle? She's only 10 months so I'm thinking ahead but she can't hold her own bottles yet and would love to encourage self feeding. She guzzles water from her munchkin 360 cup but doesn't understand how to use a straw cup. Should I just offer her milk in her munchkin 360 when the time comes or do I get her into a straw/suck a spout type of cup?

Buy a doidy cup it's slanted so easier for them to tip and drink from. Light weight and has two handles for self feeding... Just doesn't have a lid. Just start with a small amount in the bottom. And see what happens... X
thank you! I'll have a look! I've never given her a sippy cup with a valve in so she's had to sip/suck, even the ones that have come with valves I knew she'd struggle so took them out but now it seems I've made my life difficult haha

My daughter had a Tommee tippee cup, so without a valve which she drinks water out of when out and about as she likes to throw it about lol, and a doidy cup which we use in the high chair for milk with breakfast and water at meal times, but generally have about an Oz in it at a time so is she dies throw it is not loads and wasted (breast milk) lol
She is ten months next week, and when I was at my mum's in Monday I'd forgotten her water cup, so my mum gave her one of the kids beakers with a straw attached and she drank from it. I didn't think she would but she did so I say just try. Xx
